“Manny's Wings”

Saw your smiling face down below.
With open arms spread gently wide,
Greeted you to a better place;
With love that will never die.
They saw you amongst us
In times of laughter and tears,
Near those who hold you dear.
The angels bowed their humble halos
And whispered,
"We can give you all the above
Plus endless years forevermore.
Come with us son to your heavenly
loving place
To meet your friends with open arms,
And smiles “face to face".
2002
- Manny was only 25 yrs old at the time of his departure. He always had a smile
on his face. I thought the world of Manny. He went to Mexico to visit relatives
and had a heart attack at such a young age. This poem was written for his
family. Love you Manny!
