"Reflect My Reflection"
Reflect My Reflection
By Anglia Emmendorfer
As I see my upside down reflection,
I think of all the souls taken due to war.
I feel my stars penetrate the remaining souls
Releasing the warm, cold tears that displays
Sadness, grief, despair and depression
For their loves not being there.
As my stars stream down
And my red flows into the stream,
The cause is not won but so many have died.
Lives lost by hands of our enemy,
Lost by the memories endured for war,
Lost by the return to the homeland,
And lost due to time in mind.
Through all the chaos
Into the ventures of my mind in time,
Can you see me, feel me, hear me?
Scream the pain!!!

You care so for our fallen. I'm glad you are there to open our eyes.
